CE-marking services

Before selling products in Europe, they must be safe to use and CE marked. This applies to products such as those powered by electricity or batteries, like lamps, as well as toys, personal protective equipment, construction products, electrical products, and more.

All these products fall under the category of "product safety," and we have created various service packages to assist manufacturers and importers with CE marking these products. Read more about this below, or contact us to learn more.

Our CE marking packages

To best assist you, we offer several different packages that cater to most products.

CE Fast Track

Our premium package guarantees you will reach the finish line with CE marking as quickly as possible.

This package includes the “Finding the Right Direction” service, followed by a physical visit where we go through the requirement analysis. We then proceed with risk assessment, design review, in-depth review of all documentation, and more. You will have the assistance of a dedicated consultant throughout the CE marking process to ensure it is as fast and smooth as possible.

With this service, we guarantee that you will succeed, or you get your money back.

CE marking on your own

If you know that you are good at researching and like to dive into legal areas yourself but need an introduction to the subject, this option may suit you. The training will provide you with a basic course in the legal landscape surrounding CE marking.

This service comes with a money-back guarantee if you are not satisfied.

Find your bearing

Navigating laws, regulations, and standards is not easy, and this service involves us informing you of what applies to your product, what you need to consider, a suggested strategy for achieving CE marking, and a number of templates to use for documenting the product. Once everything is complete, the Compliance Monitoring service is also included.

With this service, we guarantee that we will identify and present all relevant requirements for your product (a so-called requirement analysis) so that you can sell it on the EU market.

Hassle-free import

Import without hassle – or get your money back.

Our “Hassle-free import” service is tailored for companies that purchase finished products or design their own.

Whether you’re an importer or a private label producer, our service is designed to eliminate the risks and headaches associated with importing.

Compliance monitoring

When the product is already CE marked and needs to remain so.

Once the product is on the market, every product sold must continue to be safe. The solution is to monitor whether the laws and standards you used to make your product compliant change. If you don’t want to do this yourself, we have the solution.

Every year, we conduct a check on the laws and standards that affect you, and if anything has changed or is going to change, we will notify you and describe what you need to do to address it. This allows you to confidently continue selling your product.

Examples of products that require CE marking

In addition to the texts on this page, you can find more detailed information about product categories on the pages below.

What steps must be taken to CE mark?

1

Identify the requirements

The most crucial step is identifying the requirements that apply to the product. Without knowing this, you cannot meet the requirements.

2

Meet the requirements and ensure the product is safe

Each requirement must be fulfilled, which may involve testing, risk assessments, or other documentation such as a user manual.

3

CE mark your product and sell it on the market

All products must be safe, but not all require CE marking

Not all products need to be CE marked, but thanks to the General Product Safety Directive, all products must still be safe.

Additionally, starting in December 2024, all products must have a risk assessment and technical documentation.

This means that if you manufacture or import and sell any of the following products, you must conduct a risk assessment and create technical documentation before it is legal to sell the product:

  • Chairs
  • Pens
  • Bottles
  • Tools, such as axes and hammers
  • Calendars, notebooks, paper, and pens

The list can go on indefinitely. Contact us, and we can assist you with this as well.
